Before taking any online course(s) at FIU, contact your advisor and verify that the course(s) you are interested in taking will be accepted by your university. 

Print out and complete in its entirety the Non-Degree Seeking Student Form.

Once the Non-Degree Seeking Student Application Form is completed, mail it to the address listed below or fax it to (305) 348-2941.

Please note, make sure you mail or fax copies of all required paperwork along with the Application Form. Not submitting all of the required documents will delay processing time.

Two weeks after you have faxed or mailed in your completed Non-Degree Seeking Student Application Form, call FIU's Office of the Registrar at (305) 348-1089 to obtain your pin number. To obtain your Panther ID (student number) please click here.

Once you have obtained your pin number you can register for online courses through the Panthersoft Student Administration System.

Please note, Transient and Non-Degree seeking students cannot register until the second week of registration.
